Jammu Kashmir government has alotted a land to build basic infrastructures for the pilgrims visiting Amarnath temple. Muslims oppose this and even their political outfits withdrew support to the ruling Congress coalition. This has forced the government to put the decision on hold.
When the government gives subsidy to muslim people to complete the Mecca visit, no hindu organisations or religious people oppose it. But when it is for Hindu people muslims are able to force the rulers to put it on hold.
And no political party, except BJP has raised any voice in favour of Amarnath pilgrims. This is not the time to question the secularism of BJP. But they had guts to raise their voice. What will happen if all Hindus oppose the subsidies extended to other religious people.
This country is for all. All are brothers and sisters. Let us forget about the caste, creed & religion. All should support the measures taken for the betterment of any section of the people.
